Anna Jean Badger (Young) Lefever

Anna Jean Badger Lefever, age 84, of Saxonburg formerly of Portersville, passed away Friday evening, November 25, 2016 at VNA Inpatient Hospice , Butler.

Born July 16, 1932 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence Frazier Young.

She is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville.

She enjoyed cooking, baking cookies and pies, growing flowers, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband Marlin Lefever, who she married May 25, 1991; her children:  Laurie Lach of Columbus, OH, Lisa (Robert) McCandless of Butler, Vaughn (Susan) Badger of Renfrew, her step children:  Douglas (Jeanne) Lefever of Saxonburg, Debbie (Howard) Kinney of Saxonburg, Marilyn (Robert) Rochon of Valencia, Kevin Lefever of Saxonburg; four grandchildren; eleven step grandchildren; twenty-one step great grandchildren, her two sisters:  Mary V. Young, Ruth (Leeland) Bortmas, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Richard S. Badger, who passed away July 22, 1983.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 9:30am until time of service at 11am in the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, with her pastor, Rev. Dana Opp, officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountville Cemetery, Portersville.
