The Piano Brothers

James William Rauschenberger, age 62, of Monroe Falls, Ohio, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away July 3, 2017 at his residence following an illness.

Born July 6, 1954 in Peru, Indiana, he was the youngest of eight children, and was the son of the late William Franklin and Clarice Jeanette Rauschenberger.

Jim spent most of his younger years in Butler, PA where he met his wife Janet Wehrmann.  He was a 1973 graduate of Knoch High School. Together they moved to Pentwater, Michigan where Jim was a licensed builder.

Jim and Jan left Michigan and moved to Indialantic, FL where they lived with Janet’s mother, Eleanor Wehrmann, until her passing.

Jim was very creative and his passion was woodworking.  He loved to make people laugh and gave nicknames to everyone in the family.  He will be remembered as a kind and generous man with a great sense of humor.  Always remember Jim Rauschenberger with a smile!

He is survived by his loving wife Janet Wehrmann Rauschenberger, who he married on October 3, 1992; daughter Jordan Rauschenberger of Mansfield, OH; two step sons Mark Wehrmann of Holton, MI and Erik Wehrmann of Austin, TX; two grandchildren Grant and Callum; two brothers Frank (Joyce) Rauschenberger of Mansfield, OH and Bernard (Nolene) Rauschenberger of Ellwood, Indiana; three sisters Joyce (Ronald) Benson of Medina, OH, Sally (Howard) Siebca of Clarion, PA, Linda (Gary) Powell of Cabot; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Peggy Turrano and Catherine McKnight.

The family had a Celebration of Life Service on July 12, 2017.
