Shirley Jean (Barraclough) Jones

Shirley Jean Jones, age 66, of Butler, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 4, 2017, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, following an illness.

Born November 20, 1950 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Mary Catherine Brown Barraclough.

She is survived by her daughters Amy Sallmen of Butler, Melissa (George) Burr of Lyndora; four grandchildren Tyler Sallmen, Brandi Burr, Dallyse Burr, and Trynity Burr; four siblings Mary Lou (Anthony) Grampus of Butler, Donna Braden of Butler, Carol (Wayne) Fassinger of Evans City, and Kevin (Tina) Barraclough of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John Barraclough.

Cremation services were entrusted to the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect, and a private memorial service will be held by the family.
