Thomas J. Polk

Thomas J. Polk, 77, of Slippery Rock,passed away Thursday evening at his residence. 

Born January 21, 1939 in McKees Rocks, he was the son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Kurtz Polk.

He retired in 2005 from Oxford Development Co, where he was a Stationary Engineer in commercial development.

He attended St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.

He proudly served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife Maryann McKenna Polk, who he married September 18, 1965; his children Thomas (Robyn) Polk, and Robert (Shelly) Polk; four grandchildren Gavin, Madison, Sidney, and Maren.

Viewing will be on Sunday, 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.

Funeral Mass will be on Monday, 11am, at the St Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Prospect, with Father Joseph Feltz, officiating.

Family suggests Mass cards be given in memory of Thomas to the St. Christopher Catholic Church, 229 N. Franklin Street, Prospect, PA 16052.
