Wilda Kathryn Beitle, age 95, of New Castle, passed away Sunday at Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle, PA.
Born January 27, 1922 in Brick Church, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of the late John Calvin and Margaret Levine Helfrick Schall.
Wilda will be remembered for working at different jobs in the food industry. She managed the kitchen at an Elementary School in VA, she was a bookkeeper at Crispy Kreme, she worked the snack bar at the former Montgomery Wards in Butler, and was a manager of the former Garden Gate in Prospect.
She was a care giver to her husband and she enjoyed her pet dogs.
She is survived by her two daughters: Judith Haller of Virginia and Kathy Beitle of New Castle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, who she married March 30, 1944 and who passed away January 7, 1994; one brother, and two sisters.
Upon her request, there will be no public visitation and she will have a private burial in Ford City Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect, PA.
