Lois Eleanor Stephenson

Lois Eleanor Stephenson, age 90, of Butler, passed away Wednesday morning, August 22, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia in Cabot.

Born January 24, 1928 in Connoquenessing Township, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Mabelle C. Stewart Frishkorn.

She was a member of the Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church, Butler.

Lois retired from the Slippery Rock Area School District where she worked as the Food Service Director.  After retirement Lois enjoyed working at the Butler BonTon.  She will be missed by her family and her friends.

She is the loving mother of Thomas (Robin Dudash) Stephenson of Butler. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William T. Stephenson, who passed away in 1965.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1pm to 3pm at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.  The funeral service will follow at 3pm, in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Schermerhorn of the Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church and assisted by Retired Pastor Jeff Curtis.

Interment will be private at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
