ALBERT CHARLES FORD - - - AGE: 56
OF MAIN STREET, CONNOQUENESSING
Passed away Monday afternoon at his residence following an illness.
He was born September 13, 1947 in Allegheny County, and was the son of Finley and Ida Wile Ford.
He was Protestant by faith.
He was retired from the US Army, after 22 years of Active Service, where he was a Food Service Inspector at many different locations.
Before entering the service, he worked at a feed mill in Saxonburg. After he retired from the service he worked as a Chef at Sherwood Oaks and was a School Bus Driver for Butler School District.
Mr. Ford enjoyed gardening, breeding birds, farming, and hunting. He carried on the Ford Family tradition of showing horses, that he had raised, every year at the Big Butler Fair. He also received many awards for raising and training Shutzhund Guard Dogs.
Mr. Ford was the loving husband and best friend of Erika (Ruth) Ford, whom he
married March 1968.
He was the loving Father of: - Patricia Rich and her husband Calvin, Jr. of Milton, Florida

- - - - Natascha Cratty and her husband Donald of Butler
He was the loving Opa of: - Felicia Rich and Calvin Rich, III of Milton FL
- - - - Charles Cratty and Christopher Cratty of Butler
He is also survived by: Four Brothers - Robert Ford of Renfrew
- - - - - - Merl Ford of Cranberry Twp.

- - - - - - Henry Ford, both of Baden

- - - Two Sisters - - Betty Glabb and Linda Beatty both of Baden
and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: His grandparents, who raised him, Parents, 1Brother, 1Sister,
1 Infant Grandson, 1Brother in Law, and 2 Nieces.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from FOUR - EIGHT (4 - 8PM), at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect. Family and Friends are welcome to meet at the Raisley Funeral Home at 10:00AM Thursday morning to follow the Horse Drawn Wagon Funeral Procession to Mt. Chestnut Cemetery for an 11:00AM Graveside Military Service. Interment will follow.
The family of Albert Ford has requested casual dress attire in honor of their loved one.
