Adam Francis Rodgers, age 45, of Slippery Rock, passed away unexpectedly, due to a brain hemorrhage, on December 31, 2024 in the Butler Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.
Born June 29, 1979 in Butler; he is the son of Francis Rodgers, Jr., and Kathleen Ann Homison Rodgers.
Adam was a 1998 graduate of Slippery Rock Area School District and received his Associate degree in Criminology from BC3.
He was self-employed and enjoyed tinkering with his rental properties.
Adam loved the outdoors and nature. He enjoyed kayaking and fishing Lake Arthur and the Slippery Rock Creek in his back yard. He loved his family.
He is survived by his mother Kathleen Rodgers of Butler; his father and stepmother Frank (Nancy) Rodgers of Butler; one daughter; his siblings Tiffany (Marcy Cranmer) Rodgers of Texas; Ben Rodgers of Butler; Paternal Grandmother Margaret Rodgers of Butler; stepbrother Brian Frank of Prospect; stepsister Amy (Tom) Downing of Ellwood City; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Butler County Humane Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
