Angela K. (Drake) Kern

Angela Katherine Kern, age 58, of Portersville, passed away Friday evening at the Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Born May 26, 1966 in Butler; she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Maxine Lyons Drake.

Angela enjoyed making crafts.  She owned her own craft store in Portersville and enjoyed selling at craft shows.

She enjoyed going to bingo and having cats.  She will be missed by Buggie and Scootie.

Angela is survived by her husband Jerome Kern, who she married November 26, 1983; her siblings Dewey Drake of Portersville, Robert Drake of West Virginia, Tammy Drake of West Virginia; her in laws Robert (Karen) Kern of New Castle, Rita Hayes of Butler, Gerald (Patty) Kern of Portersville, Judy(Gary) Book of Portersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother in law Ralph W Hayes, Jr.

The family will have a burial on Thursday, January 2, 2025 in Coen Cemetery, Chloe, West Virginia.
