Barbara B. Pfeifer, age 93, of Prospect, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Born April 1, 1931 in Ellwood City; she was the daughter of the late James and Edith Webster Brown.
Barb was an active member at Calvin Presbyterian Church of Ellwood City, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
She was a realtor in Butler County for over 30 years, and served on the Slippery Rock Area School Board.
Barb was a member and past president, 1996 – 1997, of the Portersville Prospect Rotary Club, where she was a Paul Harris Benefactor.
She enjoyed sewing beautiful quilts and reading.
She is survived by her children Lori (Wes) Baker and Jodi Brackbill, all of Prospect; her granddaughter Amanda J Brackbill of California; and her brother Robert Brown of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd A Pfeifer, whom she married August 18, 1951 and who passed away October 21, 2009; and her brother Virgil Brown.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home, Prospect, and the family will have a private burial at Grace Bible Church Cemetery, Harmony, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
Memorial contributions may be given to Calvin Presbyterian Church, 615 Crescent Ave., Ellwood City, PA 16117.
