Brian Scott Nicklas, age 48, of Bellevue, formerly of Prospect, passed away December 17, 2024, from diabetes complications.

Brian graduated in 1995 from Slippery Rock Area High School, where he was the Rocket Mascot for basketball games.

He was a third-generation carpenter following in the footsteps of his grandfather Gene Roxbury and his great grandfather.

Brian enjoyed working hard as a finishing carpenter in the Pittsburgh area.  He also enjoyed driving Uber in Pittsburgh where he enjoyed meeting and talking to people.  He always had interesting stories to share and some included a few celebrities.

In his younger years he enjoyed snow skiing, mountain biking, and bowling.

He was a member of The Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church.

Brian enjoyed family gatherings, summer picnics, and Sunday dinners.  He could always be counted on for bringing the chicken and a big cookie.  He enjoyed going to car shows with his old dad.

He always enjoyed trips to Florida to visit his parents in the winter months, where he always got a kick out of driving the seniors on the pontoon boat.  He had hoped to retire there in the future.
