CHARLES L. KEPPEL AGE: 73
of Unionville Road, Prospect, passed away suddenly at the emergency room of the Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 21, 1930 in Pittsburgh, and was the son of Charles and Dorothy (Koehler) Keppel.
He was a member of St. Christopher At The Lake Catholic Church.
He was retired from the Plant Protection Department of the former Armco Steel Mill, now AK Steel.
He worked at his parents bakery, The Prospect Bakery, until 1968 and was known for baking and delivering bread to local families and businesses. He also enjoyed woodworking, drawing, and painting.
He is survived by: Two Daughters: -
- Mrs. Dan (Cheryl) Twentier of Prospect
- Mrs. Denis (Valerie) Adamosky of Slippery Rock
One son: Dennis Keppel of Butler

and a Dear Friend Eleanor Montgomery of Portersville
He was preceded in death by: His wife: Dorothy (Karenbauer) Keppel, who passed away July 9, 1996, an infant Brother, and an infant Grandson.
Friends will be received Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect. Friends will also be received Thursday morning from 9:30- 10:00am at the Funeral Home, with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30am at St. Christopher At The Lake Catholic Church, Prospect, with Rev. Matthew Tosello, officiating.
Rosary will be held 8:30PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
