Mr. Gumpp was born June 22, 1926 in Slippery Rock, and was the son of Warren D. Gumpp and Myrtle Miller Gumpp. He married Joan E Klepper Gumpp April 18, 1959.
He graduated from SRHS, served in the US Marine Corps from 1950 thru 1952. He worked a s amechanic supervisor for the Pa State Police from 1959 thru 1983, at which time he retired. He was a well known local organist. He was of the protestant faith, serving in churches as the church organist, seesion member, choir member, visitation committe, building and grounds and other various committees.
He is survived by: His wife
Three daughters: Mrs. Don (Trudy) Maffolios of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Mrs. James (Carla) Osborne fo Franklin Twp. and Mrs. Tom (Sherri) Barnett of Merisdian. Two step sons Jim Raisley of Slippery Rock and Randy Raisley of Butler, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. One brother Gene Gumpp of Slippery Rock.
