DOROTHY JEAN MCKINNIS BOYD - - - Age: 80
Formally of Prospect, passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 27th, at Overbrook Nursing Center, New Wilmington, following an illness.
She was born May 29, 1923 in Prospect, and was the daughter of Ira and Annie (Davidson) McKinnis.
She was Protestant by Faith.
She was a homemaker, and belonged to the Country Music Association.
She is survived by: Two Sons: Gary Boyd of Princeton
- - - - David Boyd of Pulaski
Four Grandchildren
Three Sisters: Delores Hilliard of Florida
- - Ann Farinelli of Prospect
- - Nancy Gillen of New Wilmington
One Brother: Glenn McKinnis of Butler
Preceded in death by: Her husband David Lee Boyd who passed away May 25, 1984
- and One son.
Friends of Dorothy J. Boyd who passed away December 27, 2003 will be received Tuesday, December 30, from 7-9PM at the Edward L Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect. The funeral service will be Wednesday, 1:00PM at the Funeral Home, with Rev. John Wiseman, Pastor of Bethel United Brethren Church, New Castle, officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Prospect.
