Daniel Stephen DiFrischia, Sr., age 73, of Prospect, passed away Saturday, January 1,2022 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born May 5,1948 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Albert N. and Sophie Tkachuck DiFrischia.
He was a US Army Veteran and a retired truck driver.
Dan enjoyed gardening, traveling, and woodworking.
He is survived by his loving wife Valerie F. Frank DiFrischia, who he married November 20, 1986; his children Chelsae (Patrick) Youkers of Butler, Quinn Long of Harrisville, Whitney (Matt Chacey) DiFrischia of Midlothian, VA, Allen (Sarah) DiFrischia of Slippery Rock, and Noah DiFrischia of Prospect; eight grandchildren Daein, Adisyn, Elise, Eilee, Tiernan, Valor, Apollo, and Corisa; his brother Joseph (Debbie) DiFrischia of Ellwood City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Albert DiFrischia, Tim DiFrischia, and Janet Ferrante.
Cremation funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc, 387 Main Street, Prospect.
