Darla K. (Mengel) Cutchall

Darla K. Mengel Cutchall, age 71, of Portersville, passed away Sunday April 20, 2014 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a three month illness.

Born April 26, 1942 in New Sewickly Twp., Beaver County, she was the daughter Marguerite Louise Holton Temple and the late Abraham M. Mengel.

She attended Portersville Christian Missionary Alliance Church.  She enjoyed making cards, swimming, hiking, and being on the computer.  She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed dancing.

Darla is survived by her loving husband Loyd N. Cutchall, Jr, whom she married August 31, 1957; 3 sons:  Loyd “Nels” (Darlene) Cutchall of Ashtabula, OH; Lynn Allan (Sherry) Cutchall of New Castle; Wade Paul (Diane) Cutchall of Grove City; her grandchildren Kristine (Ken) Tenney, Brandy (Brian) Hart, Chad (Mary) Cutchall, Lacee Cutchall, Desiree Cutchall, Justin Cutchall; 1 Step grandchild Michele Lewis; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step great Grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; her mother Marguerite Louise Temple of Baden; 2 sisters:  Karen (Jim) Wylie, Jr of Freedom, and Elaine (Joseph) Chalupiak of Baden; and her brother:  Jerry (Ruth) Mengel of New Castle.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one grandson.

A celebration of life memorial service will be on Saturday, April 26, 2014, 1pm in the Portersville Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 363 E Portersville Rd, Portersville.
