Donald Bruce Phipps

Donald Bruce Phipps, age 65, of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Born October 18,1959 in Butler; and was the son of the late Earl Lester and Viola Mae Stephenson Phipps.

Early on he worked in residential construction and for local trucking entities.  He was currently working as a truck driver for McClymonds Supply and Transit.

Don enjoyed motorcycle riding, being outdoors, and always working hard at work or at home.  He will be remembered for renovating his childhood home these last several years.

He is survived by his wife Fang Lyu, who he married February 2, 2017; his son Joshua (Bobbie Jo) Phipps of Harmony; his grandson Jaden Phipps; two stepdaughters Hui Zi Jin and Yu Yan Ge both of China; his brother James (Elena) Phipps of Virginia; his nephew Tyler Phipps and his niece Kayla Phipps both of New York.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 8,2025 from 3pm to 6pm at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, August 9,2025 at 11am in the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, 115 Church Street, Prospect, with Rev Jason Sinagra, officiating.
