Joan Marie (Guidish) Piper

Joan Marie Piper, age 75, of  Prospect, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, at the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital. 

Born July 17, 1939 in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Ethel Kerry Guidish.

She was a volunteer at the Portersville Food Pantry, EMT with Portersville Ambulance, and a life time member of the Portersville Vol. Fire Dept and Auxillary.  

Joan was dedicated to her loving grandchildren.   She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and embroidery. 

She is survived by four children:  Patricia Lott of Chicora, Kenneth P Piper, Deana M (Walter, Sr) Rager, Elizabeth K Cannuli, all of Butler; 1 step son Larry Joe McCamey of Volant; son in law Michael C Cannuli of Butler; daughter in law Mary McKinnis of Prospect; 12 Grandchildren:  Tara Lott, Heather Lott, Eddie Lott, Melissa McKinnis, Nicole McKinnis, Walter Rager, Jr, Alexander Rager,  Savannah Rager, Christian Rager, Emily(fiancee Ashleyn Weyman)Caslander, Michael D. Cannuli, and Levi McCamey; 4 siblings Kenneth (Linda) Guidish of Rose Point, Diana (Rusty) Miller-Flanagin of Portersville, Andy (Vicky) Guidish of Prospect, Joseph (Kris) Guidish of Franklin, and many nieces and nephews.   

She was preceded in death by her husband Presley "Mac" McCamey, who passed Nov. 3, 2002; and her step son Randall D. McCamey.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at the Edward L Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.  

At a future date and time, the family is planning a graveside memorial service with interment to be in James W Miller Memorial Park, Portersville.   

In lieu of the flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Raisley Funeral Home.
