Joyce Fay Watt, age 63, of Prospect, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Butler Memorial Hospital with her family by her side after a courageous battle against cancer.
Born July 11, 1961 in Butler; she was the daughter of the late Lawrence "Dutch" and Pauline Anderson Gilliland.
Joyce will be remembered for her resilient personality, fun loving laughter, and her great sense of humor. She enjoyed her social life with family and many friends she met along the way. She had worked at the former Pizza Hut in Zelienople for over 12 years. She enjoyed the past 22 years with her boyfriend Dave. They loved to go to concerts, camping, and canoeing.
She is survived by her significant other David Strobel of Prospect, her sisters Janice Norris of Evans City, Arlene (Joe) Kinney of Chicora; two grandchildren Brandi Watt and Dylan Watt both of Slippery Rock; her niece Nicole Norris; her nephew Shawn Norris; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sons Travis Watt and Todd Watt; stepfather Chuck Golla; and her nephew Dustin Cunning.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life service.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
