Julie Kay (Madden) Garlick

Julie K. Garlick, age 46, of Portersville, passed away Thursday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born September 25, 1969 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of James Madden, II, and the late Barbara Yohe Madden.

She loved to read, do cross stitch, care for her cats, spend time with her girlfriends and their children, and attend festivals and music concerts with her husband.

She is survived by her husband David Allen Garlick, who she married June 20, 1998; her father James Madden II.; her sister Marjorie (Charles) Madden Boots, of Portersville; her brother James Madden III. of Avis, PA; her Mother in law Patricia Garlick of Baden; three brothers in law and a sister in law; a number of nieces and nephews; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Preceded in death by her mother Barbara Yohe Madden, and her father in law Robert Garlick.

A memorial service will held at 6PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Portersville Community Park, with the Rev. Dana Opp, officiating.
