Lois M. (Weller) Bauder

Lois M. Bauder, age 84, peacefully passed away Thursday afternoon, November 2, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side.

Born July 11, 1939 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Marion F. Cleland Weller.

She faithfully attended the Portersville Bible Church.

Lois received her Bachelor’s in Teaching degree and had taught in both Ohio and California.

She spent most of her life being a homemaker where she was a mother first, then enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and helping family members.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ray W. Bauder, who she married on June 8, 1962; children Patrick (Wendy) Bauder of Delaware, OH and Kimberly (David) Grant of Portersville; three grandchildren Jack Bauder, Madeline Bauder, Joelle Grant; siblings Mary Barr of Portersville, Edith Riffe of San Diego, CA, and David (Nichol) Weller of Portersville.     

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Jean Brenneman and Alda McClymonds.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be on Friday, December 1, 2023, 2pm in the Portersville Bible Church, with Chris Roberts, the church pastor, officiating.
