Lois Elizabeth (Walls) Maser

Lois E. Maser, age 81, of Butler, passed away Thursday evening at Orchard Manor, Grove City.

Born February 18, 1934, in Clay Township, she was the daughter of the late John Walls and Dorothy Link.

Lois was a member of the New Testament Baptist Church in Butler. 

Earlier in her life, she enjoyed bowling and was on a league in Butler.  She also enjoyed cards, camping, gardening, and growing flowers.

She is survived by her husband Herman L Maser of Butler; her children Larry L. (and his fiancée Cathy Jesteadt) Maser of Butler, Clyde L. (Jane) Maser of Butler, Irene E. Maser of Prospect; five grandsons:  Greg (Melisse) Maser of Slippery Rock, Eric (Brandi) Maser of Connoquennessing,  Ben Maser of Renfrew, David Maser of State College, Trevor Maser – who is serving in the US Army at Fort Bragg, NC, one granddaughter:  Korene Smith of Prospect; and one great granddaughter:  Lily Maser; half sister Susan Tyson; half brother Danny Walls.

She was preceded in death by her step father and mother:  Clyde and Dorothy Link Benn; her father John Walls; and her brother Eugene Walls.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.  The funeral service will be on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10:30am in the Funeral Home, with Rev Steve Fisher, her pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
