Lois Margaret “George” Roth, age 85, of Prospect, passed away Thursday evening, May 2, 2024, in the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born at home on April 9, 1939, in Middle Lancaster; she was the daughter of the late Russell and Catherine Bieber Double.
She retired after 40 years, working as the Business Manager for the former Burt Hill Kosar Rittelmann Associates Architects in Butler.
George enjoyed growing flowers in her garden, knitting, baking, and was an avid hockey and baseball fan.
She is survived by her husband Paul Dennis Roth, whom she married December 7, 1957; her children Jeffrey (Tammy) Roth of Bellevue, and Julia (John Saatela) Roth of Anderson Island, Washington; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sisters Edythe Burger and Thelma Jean Guntrum both of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert John Double.
Cremation services were entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Servies, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
