Melody Hope Kudamik, age 75, of Evans City, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the Butler Memorial Hospital, following an illness.
Born January 11, 1949 in Waukegan Illinois; she is the daughter of Hope Sharon Peric Martin, who resides in Florida; and the late Earl Houston Martin.
She had worked as a nurse's aide at St John's Home in Mars.
In her younger years, she loved relaxing bike rides at Moraine State Park while enjoying nature.
She was a journalist, enjoyed writing and keeping her collections. She was an artist, using paints and pastels, and also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her son Forrest Lindgren of Evans City; granddaughter Nakitta Lindgren, grandsons Joey and Kenny, great grandchildren Brooklyn and Jensen; her mother Hope Martin; her brother Earl Martin of Florida and her sister Faith Chevalier of Evans City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Lindgren.
Cremation services were entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., in Prospect.
