Robert Wilson McMurray, Jr

Robert Wilson McMurray, Jr, age 48 of Portersville passed away at his residence early Wednesday morning, December 23, 2020.

Born December 30, 1971 in McKees Rocks, he was the son of Robert Wilson and Katherine Oresick McMurray, Sr of Portersville.

Through out his career, he was a truck driver and mover, most recently working for Atlas Specialized Transport, Inc.  He enjoyed traveling for work, but always loved to be home with his family.

He was a 1990 Slippery Rock High School graduate.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and collected all kinds of Steeler memorabilia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings Ronald (Krista) Adams of Ohio, Derek (Linda) Adams of Harlansburg, Deborah (Bill) McCarthy of California; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Daryl McMurray.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 3:30pm until time of service at 4pm, with Rev. Dana Opp, Pastor of The Portersville Presbyterian Church, officiating, at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect, PA.
