THOMAS "MOLE" ROBERT MCKINNIS - - - Age: 50
of Prospect, passed away Saturday evening at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following an illness.

He was born January 23, 1953 in Butler, and was the son of Robert and Pauline Chritchlow Mckinnis.

At one time, he had worked at his family business the Critchlow General Store in Prospect.

He was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Prospect.

He was a 32 year member of The Prospect Volunteer Fire Department, where he currently was the President and Safety Officer. In the past, he was elected many times as the Fire Chief, and the Assistant Fire Chief.

He was currently the EMA (Emergency Management Agency) Coordinator for Prospect Borough and Franklin Township.

He belonged to the Butler County Fire Chiefs Association where he served as Chaplain.

He was a volunteer staff at the Butler County Fire School for many years.

He was currently a Senator for the Jaycee's Organization, and a Past President of the former Butler Chapter of the Jaycee's.

He belonged to the Tri-State Antique Fire Engine Assoc., the Custom Coaches Van Club of Pittsburgh, and the Street Life Car Club Assoc. of Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Riemenschneider McKinnis, whom he married May 30, 1998, and their two daughters: Melissa and Nicole McKinnis at home.

Visitation for Thomas "Mole" McKinnis, who passed away November 15, 2003, will be
Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Edward L Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect. The funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday at the The Presbyterian Church of Prospect, with the Rev. Dan Reuter, his Church Pastor officiating.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
