Theodore J Langa

Theodore Joseph Langa, of Prospect, passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2025 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Joseph J and Mary F Kudamik Langa.

He married Dorothy Fry Langa on October 6, 1972.

After graduating from Butler High School in 1957 he began working at Armco Steel, retiring in 1996.

He was a member of the Grace of Calvary Lutheran Church until its closing.

He was a member of the Harmony Lodge #429, Scottish Rite in New Castle, and social member of the Meridian Vets Club.

Ted loved riding his Harley and working on vehicles in his younger years.  He and Dorothy loved camping and traveling coast to coast visiting family and friends and many landmarks.

Surviving is his loving wife and best friend Dorothy.  His stepchildren Debra Romo(Ryan Smith), Jeffrey (Cindy) Marburger, Steven (Terri) Marburger; daughters Denise (Patrick) Ritzert, Melanie (Denny) McKnight, Sabra Gray, Thea Taylor; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren; his siblings Thomas (Donna) Langa and Irene Delaney; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Langa.

He will miss his buddy calls.

Cremation services were entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
