Thomas James Stockman

Thomas James “TJ” Stockman, age 21, of Portersville, passed away Thursday evening in the emergency room of the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born November 18, 1992 in Butler Memorial Hospital, he was the son of Dale E. and Natalie A. Nye Stockman.

TJ was an exceptional young man with a beautiful heart.

He was happiest with his Pap, Nate, family and friends.  He enjoyed spending time at Yankee Lake, the Portersville VFD, and anywhere his friends were.

He will be terribly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

TJ is survived by his parents Dale and Natalie Nye Stockman of Portersville; Thomas and Stephanie Shields of Orrville, OH; his brother Ryan Stockman of Portersville; his half sister Eryn Stockman of Harrisville; his half brothers Jayce Carothers of Las Vegas, NV, Brent Shields and Connor Shields, both of Orrville, OH; his maternal grandparents Nathan and Dorothy Nye of Portersville; paternal grandparents Rodney and Cynthia Ganter of Charlotte, TN; and a number of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.  A funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 11:00am in The Presbyterian Church of Prospect, with Rev. Bob Zonts, from Grace Community Church in Cranberry Twp., officiating.  Please meet at church, TPCP 115 Church Street, Prospect.

Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Butler, PA.
