Timothy Schnur, age 57, of Butler, passed away Thursday evening in the Butler Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
Born February 7, 1963 in Butler, he was the son of the late Clair and Dolores (Eagal) Schnur.
He was a carpenter by trade and was an onsite foreman for many local businesses.
At a young age, he had the love of music and began playing drums. He is known throughout the community as a drummer with many local bands. He loved his family and took great joy in his grandchildren.
Tim was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and also had a love for animals.
He is survived by his wife Diane Anderson Bergbigler, step children Kristan Kudamik of Fenelton and Jim and Darlene Bergbigler of Butler; six grandchildren Emily, Nikki, Tessa, Anna, Sofie, and Brandon; brother Lance Schnur of Jefferson Hills, PA and two nephews Jason and Nicholas Schnur.
Due to public health concerns we will implement state mandated regulations as the family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7pm, at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Ben Oesterling, of Mt Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, officiating.
