Vincent "Buddy" Paul Feltz

Vincent P. “Buddy” Feltz, age 57, of Prospect, died June 2, 2015 in Butler Memorial Hospital, Butler, PA.

Born December 4, 1957, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Thelma Sandusky Feltz.

He enjoyed education at Holy Trinity School, Serra High School, Robert Morris, and Community College in Monroeville.  Buddy majored in Business and Culinary Arts.

He managed his uncle’s Patsy Riazzi’s Restaurant and worked for 25 years for the Diocese of Pittsburgh as a chef at St Anne’s in Castle Shannon, St Anthony’s in Monongahela, and St Christopher’s in Prospect.

Buddy loved cooking and time with family and fiancée.  He belonged to the Slovak club.  He enjoyed outdoors, fishing, golfing, and traveling.  He cherished his Civil War, Marilyn Monroe, and Three Stooges Collections. 

Vincent is survived by his brothers:  Father Joseph E. Feltz, Dennis M. Feltz; his fiancée Susan Duffy; his nieces:  Laura (Sean) Feltz Griffith; Mary (Eric) Feltz, and Beth (Tony) Fleming, and seven grand nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew D.J. Feltz.

Visitation Friday, June 5, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect. 

Rosary will be 10am Saturday, June 6, with the Funeral Mass 11am in the St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 229 N Franklin Street, Prospect, PA with his brother Father Joseph E. Feltz, officiating. 

All are invited to the Mercy Meal at St. Christopher’s following the Liturgy.

Interment will be on Monday, June 8, 2015, 12:00pm in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Port Vue, PA.

Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Christopher Church, 229 N Franklin St, Prospect, PA 16052.
