Wendy Lee Rea, age 63, of Butler peacefully passed away at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler on Monday, November 10,2025 following an illness.
Born March 15,1962 in Erie, PA; She was the daughter of the late Ronald Lee and Jane Louise Tirk Waldenmyer.
She attended the Unionville Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Wendy was a homemaker who enjoyed time with her family and caring for her son Tyler. She was social, loved to shop and be out and about, and enjoyed baking.
She is survived by her son Tyler Dane Rea of Butler; her former spouse and friend Rick Rea of Butler; her sisters Debra Smith of Butler, Tracey (John) Saul of Butler; Deanna (Charles) Morrison of Texas; nieces and nephews Channing (Derrick) Eythe, Jessica (Nick) Merz, Johnny (Brandi) Saul, CJ (Abby) Morrison; and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew Lincoln Smith and her brother in law Elvin Smith.
The family will hold private services with Rev Matthew Kail, her church pastor officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
