Norma Jean Kudamik

Norma Jean Kudamik, age 76, of Evans City passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Butler Memorial Hospital, following an illness.

Born February 19, 1942 in Lockport, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Gagen Weiland.

She was catholic by faith, and enjoyed teaching Sunday School at both St Wendelin Catholic Church and St Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church.

She lived for her children and grandchildren and loved family time and her pets.  She was a free spirited creative person, who loved to joke and laugh.  She enjoyed making floral arrangements, crafting, and painting anything that honored her Native American Heritage.

She is survived by her husband James Dean Kudamik, who she married in October of 1986; her children Kimberly Davis of Georgia, Robert Kelly of Butler, James Dean (Elizabeth) Kudamik, II of Butler; her grandchildren Daniel (Starlit) Davis, Christina (Josh) Cosey, Amanda (T.J.) Queen, Rocky (Katie) Davis, Luke (Lindsey)Davis, Emma Rose Kudamik, and Evan John Kudamik; 12 Great Grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John Bedner, one son John Bedner II, and her grandson John Bedner III.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5PM to 7PM at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.  The funeral service will be at 7PM in the Raisley Funeral Home.

Interment will be at 9:30am on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the St Wendelin Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
