Ruth Ann (Carpenter) Link

Ruth Ann Link, age 79, of Portersville, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 in Butler Memorial Hospital, following an illness.

Born April 1, 1944 in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Margaret Anna Kitson Carpenter.

Ruth retired in 2019 as a bus driver from the Campbell Bus Line.

She loved the outdoors, gardening, reading, crocheting, quilting, and enjoying time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her children Shirley (Ken) Brown, John (Dawn) Link, Diane (Edward) Clark, Tammy (Brice) Shaffer, Karen Feather, Gloria (Judd) Ihlenfeld, Amanda (Dustin) Klamer; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Link, who she married February 27, 1961 and who passed away June 10, 2008; two brothers; and one sister.

Private services are under the direction of the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect. 

A private interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
