Thomas D. Christy

Thomas D. Christy, age 75, of Butler; passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born June 26, 1946 in Butler; he was the son of the late William and Eva Quinaux Christy.

He began his career at the Agway Store in Butler, and then changed jobs to a custodian at the Butler Area School District, where he later retired.

He had a passion for fishing; and enjoyed many fun times fishing with his stepson Bill.

He is survived by his children William (Crystal) Miller of New Castle, Jerri Miller of Butler; his siblings Jim (Carole) Christy of Worthington, and Linda Lou (Greg) Grim of York, Pa; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his life companion of 35 years Patricia Miller, who passed away June 20, 2021; and his siblings George Christy, Eugene Christy, Paul Christy, Rose Kimmel, Lu Lu Belle Martin, Norma Jean Carte, Ora May Leppert, and infant Shirley Ann Christy.

A memorial service is being planned by the family for this Spring.

Cremation services were provided by the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
