Walter Vangenewitt Obituary
Walter I. Vangenewitt, age 77, of Portersville, peacefully passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 24, 2022, with his wife by his side following an illness.
Born May 23, 1945, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late William and Evelyn Busch Vangenewitt.
He was a hardworking business and handyman for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Lori A. McIntyre Vangenewitt; his daughters Shannon L. Vangenewitt of Sewickley and Anna Marie Vangenewitt of the North Hills; his brother Richard (Linda) Vangenewitt of Butler; a number of nieces and nephews; and his pet dog Jolly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers William and Edward Vangenewitt.
Private services will be held by the family with interment in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
