William L. “Billy” Weaver, age 61, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Prospect, passed away unexpectantly on March 31, 2021 at his residence due to natural causes.
Born March 24, 1960 in Butler; he was the son of the late Ray and Mildred Weaver.
He worked as a Union Construction Laborer in Las Vegas.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing youth baseball for the Prospect Boys Club and was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School.
Billy enjoyed hunting, Pittsburgh Steelers, and NASCAR racing. When his son was younger, he enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball teams and volunteering with the cub scouts. He loved his past pet dogs Champ, Cinnamon, Zoe, and he is survived by his dog Violet.
He is survived by his son Justin Weaver and his girlfriend, Cherii Manthe, of Las Vegas; brother Donald (Sue) Weaver of Florida; two sisters Joyce Ballew of Prospect and Grace Laderer of Texas; nieces and nephews; and brother in law Randy (Elaine) Nocera of Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah “Debbie” Weaver, whom he married January 18, 1980 and who passed away October 9, 2020.
Cremation services were in Las Vegas.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his sister's house......... Joyce Ballew, 613 Main Street, Prospect.
